My parents live in another state. I'd like to send them a Birthday cake. I see several places that ship cakes (the same places that ship flowers) Any suggestions of a place to order from?

It's not cake but how about a Cookies by Design. (www.cookiesbydesign.com) or Cookie Bouquets.com or cookies in bloom.com.
Much easier to ship and still very festive.

Reply:Depends on where they live. In the Baltimore area definitely go for Charm City Cakes!
They have their own show on the Food Network- Ace of Cakes.
Their cakes are top notch but run about $500 per cake.
They will deliver but that is extra.
If your willing to spend that much, you will not regret it.
They have 40 flavors of cakes.
