I am looking to send a gift to my realtor (out of state) which has been amazing! I thought about flowers, but want to be original. Looking to spend no more than $40 .. thoughts???
Gift Idea toThank Your Realtor?
I give gifts as a real estate broker but occassionally when I have gone the extra mile, some of my clients have given me a gift as well.
Personally, I have always liked a gift card to a local restaurant. Once a client gave me a very nice gift card to a winery in the area which was fantastic.
It also may sound silly, but a nice letter is a real treat as well!
Reply:I'd send nothing but a card. They're getting a commission and that's gift enough.
Reply:He/she should buy you a gift to thank you. Absurd how confused the public is about the RE industry.
Reply:Send a nice thank-you note along with referrals!! Realtors work on commission only so they'd much prefer a new lead over flowers or candy.
Reply:Some sort of written public thank you would mean a lot to someone in that line of work. A small ad in a community paper would express your appreciation and help your realtor get additional clients.
Reply:One of my favorites is a nice thank you note, I can print that and show it to potential clients that I am willing to go the extra mile or twenty to get a transaction together.
I have received wine, candy and plants - all nice things. I agree that a gift certificate to a nice eatery is good, sometimes I get home late or don't feel like cooking - a GC to a restaurant comes in nicely in those situations.
But my favorite thing is referrals. I am never too busy to handle a referral.
Reply:The best thing you can send your realtor is a referral. Who's the next person you know that would like to do what you just did?
