My cousin is missing, and I wnat to send the family something...?

My cousin is missing from his college town, and his mother has been there (out of state, staying in a hotel) for 2 weeks. I want to send something to her, cookies or something. Is cookies tacky? is sending anything tacky? Any other suggestions to send? I really don't want to send flowers.

first of all, i hope they find your cousin. good luck to you and your family.

secondly, i dont think cookies would be much of a comfort to her right now. maybe something more sentimental? like a card? or depending on if you can- maybe you could help her look for your cousin or have someone help her. if shes low on money then maybe you could give her a grocery gift card or something.

thats a tough call on what to do. i think you consoling her would be the best thing to give her. just keep her positive so that she doesnt lose hope. again, good luck.
Reply:The poor woman probably doesn't have an appetite. Just send her an encouraging note to hopefully give her a lift. Tell her that you are praying for all concerned.
Reply:send her one of his fingers.
