Is it appropriate to wear brown to Easter mass?

I plan on wearing this dress:

But I live in a northern state, so it's supposed to be like 28 degrees. I have a fur capelet that is brown rex rabbit, it's a short capelet so it's not overpowering, I'm just worried because it's brown.



My dad said that I shouldn't wear brown to Easter mass because it's a winter color. I was wondering what the concensus is on this outfit?



Also, I plan on wearing bronze metallic flats.

I say you wear what you want. I life up in the north (PA) and it IS cold here. Just wear a cover up 'cause it's gonna be chilly!
