Alabama question and please help!!?
Bird:Yellowhammer

Flower:camellia

Tree:Southern Longleaf Pine
Reply:bird- Yellow Hammer

flower- Camellia

tree- Southern Pine
Reply:The Alabama state bird is a yellowhammer which is a member of eh woodpecker family. It got its got its name from the way it hammers trees with its beak and the flash of yellow it displays on the underside of its wings. The bird's colors of gray and yellow were said to resemble the uniform of a Confederate cavalryman, and an Alabama regiment of the Confederate Army wore yellowhammer feathers in their hats.

In June 1999, the Legislature designated that the camellia, Camellia japonica L., is the official state flower of Alabama.

Longleaf pine (Pinus palustris) is thestate tree of Alabama.

This pine is a tall, stately native of the southern United States coastal plain, from southeast Texas to southern Virginia. It is one of several pines which characterize the southern pine savannahs. Longleaf pine thrives in areas with long, hot summer conditions and poor acidic soils that are low in organic matter. Like most savannah species, longleaf pine depends on fire to maintain its habitat
