I have two ~ a butterfly w/ some greenery on my right shoulder and a columbine flower on my ankle. Love butterflies and am from Colorado where the columbine is the state flower. I may get another one of these days.... maybe a California poppy on my other ankle. It's the California state flower, and I've been here almost half my life.

Do you have a tattoo?
I have 5, three are Kanji meaning mother , earth, magic, signifying my pagan path.( left shoulder ) I have a butterfly that represents the huge transformations I have gone through in the past few years, and to remind me that life is a transforming event its self. ( right shoulder ) The final is a triple moon on my right wrist, also representing my pagan path.

Reply:Yes. I have two. One on each of my forearms. A bass Clef on my left, and a treble clef on my right. They're outlined in black and shaded in with blues.



My next one will probably be the outline drawing thing of John Lennon and the word "Imagine". Not sure where yet.
Reply:I have an arm band that is kind of a celtic look with a celtic cross hanging on it - I got it because my body was rejecting piercings and an anklet that is roses and rose vine - I got that because I wanted another - my third is a design I kind of made up - I bought several designs and played with them on Paintshop Pro until I had a design I was happy with I then had my daughters name (which is Chinese - although I am not Chinese I just like the name) so I had her name translated into Chinese charecters and put down beside my design which is a mother fairy holding a newborn baby and the words My Angel ..... .......... (dots represent her name) and is placed in the centre of my upper back - its my favorite and means the most to me - I am thinking about designs for the lower back now.



I also now have a heap of piercings - it seems back when I started trying to get pierced I was using inferior jewellery - now they usually dont have a problem
Reply:I have a real pretty butterfly on my back and got it when I was 28 years old. I was such a good kid growing up that I would have never thought to get one. My rebellion stage took place much later in life, so my tat signified my independence of the fear of making my father angry! Have a great week! Annie

Reply:No, its against my religion. But do pen tattoos count. If so i drawn them all the time. I have one of Chinese letters on my arm but it smudged after i went running.

Reply:I very badly *wanted* a teensy frog on my ankle with 11/18/2000 under it, symbolizing the sport that I love dearly. DH and our two adult sons hit the ceiling. I have a frog on a crown in my mouth instead.

I have a lizzard on my left hip. It means a lot to me because I got it with my best friends and it was a real bonding experience. As for what it is a lizzard, it was cute and sneaky like me.

My other tatoo is between my shoulder blades. It is a Penn State logo. I got it because that is where I went to school and I am very proud of that and support my Nittany Lions.

I might get another in the future, but I am still thinking about it.

Reply:Yes I have 3. 2 on my back are of my babies feet from their birth certificates and their initials and I got them because no matter where life takes me I wanted them to always be there and my 3rd one is of the mustang emblem on my wrist with my brothers date of birth and death and I chose that one because that was the last thing we did together was work on his car. And I plan on getting many more
