He says they are an old timey flower. The blooms are orange in color and are actually a bunch of little blooms making it look like one big bloom on top of a stalk. I have not personally seen these close up. But he states the blooms sort of look like blooms on lantana. He also states he has only seen it in one yard - his. So, if anyone has an idea of what it "may" be, it would be appreciated if you could give me a name. We are in SE USA. Thanks.
K, I need a little help. My boss has some flowers planted in his yard, but has no idea what they are.?
I'm thinking it may be a yarrow? Yarrow has fern-like foliage and a flat cluster of flowers at the top and comes in many colors...although I haven't seen one I would call orange... ?
Reply:it could be orange lantana.

Reply:It might be in the allium family. Does the stem look like a scallion? On the other hand, if it is lantana the stems will be almost woody.
