Does anyone know where to buy suprise lilies? they also call the in the words of my mother "pink naked ladies"lol anyway, These are my favorite flower and since I moved about 5 states away from home I could not take them with me. I went to a few flower specialty stores and some garden centers...most in my area have never even heard of them :o(
Suprise lilies?
They have a lot of common names. Naked Ladies, Surprise Lilies, Resurrection Lilies, Magic lilies. (botanical name is Lycoris squamigera...if you end up mail ordering, double checking this name will make sure you what you order is really what you thought it was)
They are planted in the fall - and so are often only available then...just like tulip and daffodil bulbs for planting. Go look at garden stores in October.
