Why is Iraq welcoming Ahmadinejad with open arms and flowers!?!?

They are giving him hugs and flowers! The Iraqis are giving him the full state ceremonial treatment! Our President Bush's trips have been secretive, furtive, on the down low with no hugs, no flowers, no welcome. Are they doing this intentionally to embarrass our President Bush!?! Do we need to re-liberate them!?!

haha...you are right. And it reminds me of when Bush visited his biggest ally in south america, Colombia. They flew him into the colonial coastal city of Cartagena, he was there for about 6 hours and was flown out...Colombia had to flood the city with thousands of uniformed men, because of protestors etc....



That's what happens when you have a president that is feared around the world, but not respected.



And it also tells you something...when the media says "Colombia" or "Iraq" is out biggest ally, it doesn't mean the PEOPLE of those countries...they can't stand Bush...what they mean is a very narrow political elite that supports the military aid/ protection they get from, once again, a man they fear not respect...



The media has us believe that the country and its people are allied with us. Think again.



The ahmadinejad visit underscores the reality of Iraq, namely both majority Shia countries, the SCIIRI and Dawa parties are closely aligned with Iran...and they will be valuable trading partners, etc...and the US can really do nothing about it, surge or no surge....

Bush didn't even know the difference between Shi'a and Sunni before he invaded. He embarrassed himself through his own ignorance.

Iraq can't afford to antagonize a military maniac, like Ahmadinejad.

What if Shrillary wins? Or O(s)bama? Iraq is dead.
