Why would Hilliary Clinton say she had been shot at when she hadn't?

Hilliary says that she and her daughter had to run from their airplane to their vehicles to avoid gunfire when they landed in Afghanistan,



When in reality she was greeted by a welcoming commitee and a young girl carrying flowers.

This brings serious questions about her mental state and whether or not you can believe anything she says.



Have you ever "misspoke about being shot at"?

Why would Hilliary Clinton say she had been shot at when she hadn't?
that was very very lame of her! what a childish thing to lie about. i think that says a lot about what kind of person she is.
Reply:This is just another example of her trying to do anything to get elected. I don't think a fine faithful servant of the U.S. military like John McCain would have to make up storied like that....
Reply:she's old expect her to forget or exagerate things.



but then again she might be exagerating to get the votes of people who want experience. experience being a president who had was in the line of fire i guess.(if that is so Mcain would take the cake since he was in vietnam)

(example - "I am from the city of Rhode Island." A statement misspoken as compared to "I am from the state of Rhode Island.") not a lie, rather a misspoken statement.



Clinton did not misspeak. She LIED.
Reply:Politicians have to lie. It's a compulsion.
Reply:No, I was in a precarious situation once, when people were shot and we were in the area. We were evacuated and it was scary, but we weren't shot at and I'd never say that we were. This is stupid, why did she embellish to the point of stupidity.



Edit: Has she EVER been shot at, at any of the countries she's been to? No. She lied.
Reply:Hillary has been on thousands of trips and visited 80 countries. Asking her to recall one particular trip is unfair. Her exact recollection was inaccurate, but we can not hold her to it.
