I recieved a generic type email presented to look like it's from yahoo alledging possible TOS violation. However it didn't state what the alleged violation is/was supposedly to be nor do I conduct myself in a manner to violate TOS. So I would really like to have this email I recieved investigated and clarified. Thank you. Norman Flowers
Does Yahoo send out generic email claiming TOS violations without stating what the alledged violation is?
No, they have to tell you what the violation is. They should have sent you a copy of the incident whether it was an inappropriate answer or an email you sent that was inappropriate. Now if it was from messenger, they can't send that, just letting you know that someone complained about you.
Call customer service for a clarification.
