What exactly has she accoomplished as junior senator from New York?
It seems that she is most notorious for being the first First Lady to be subpoenaed to testify before a Federal grand jury, as a consequence of the Whitewater scandal, and then again in several other investigations during the Clinton administration, and more for the state of her marriage to the impeached President Bill Clinton than for official state matters.
She may be more remembered for her appearance on 60 minutes with Bill who denied his affair with Jennifer Flowers but apologized for causing pain in his marriage, a continually repeating theme of his.
From Travelgate to Vince Foster there have been several allegations of serious misconduct and improprieties surrounding her career.
So how could Hillary be the "right stuff" to lead our nation?
Is Hillary Clinton qualified to become POTUS?
Hillary Clinton is a front for bill because he wants back in the white house. personally, i can't stand either of then. this country will be a lot better off CLINTONLESS!!! she doesn't have much political experience except what she overheard durimg bill's terms. how she ever got elected senator in new york is beyond me. oh did i say senator from NEW YORK? well that explains it.
Reply:Because she would have the BEST damn advisor at her side everyday and everynight!
Reply:Hillary is infinitely more qualified to be POTUS than Monkey Boy Bush ever will be.
The Lunatic Right-wing Crackpot Party wasted $60 million of our taxpayers trying to pin ANYTHING on her and came up empty handed. None of the republican candidates could survive that type of scrutiny unscathed like she did.
Reply:Sure! Bush proved an ex-drunk with a below average IQ can get elected to president.
Reply:If Bush could do it a monkey could do it!
Actually a monkey would enjoy a better public opinion.
Reply:honestly? no.
she flip flops like a fish out of water! one day on one side of the issue, another day on the other side. she sells out, and yeah, her stance on many issues, including health care, have changed dramatically due to the amount of money that people have payed her.
the only reasons why I could see her going in as opposed to obama or any of the republicans is because:
1) she's a woman
2) she's a Clinton
3) she's junior senator of new york. she's got a lot of loaded ($$$$$$) support behind her because of that.
personally, I think she is most unsuitable to become President, especially now when we have troops in Iraq who have to get OUT!!!
obama all the way!
Reply:The country HAS to vote Democratic so the world can try Bush as the war criminal that he is.
Bill Clinton's administration gave me the most profitable years in my life.
Because of term limits, Bush can't run again but Bill Clinton can get around this by having his wife run instead ... BRILLIANT!
Reply:I don't know what POTUS is. But I personally don't think she is qualified to become anything. If she is not strong enough to leave her man after he cheated on her, why would we want her in control of our country. - especially in times of war
Reply:i think she has the qualifications and although she has a strong background, her past will overshadow her. her life has been a tad too messy for some people to give her their 100% trust. she's a strong candidate and the votes may surprise us, but my gut says mr. obama.
Reply:She's probably as qualified as anyone else running gop or dem.
Reply:My personal opinion.. no
She sold out too easily where health care is concerned, what other stands is she willing to sell out on?
Reply:since she meets the constitutional requirements, she's qualified.
this country, above all else, values democracy. and hillary meets the minimum qualifications.
Reply:My choice for the nominee would be Joe Biden for his experience in foreign and domestic affairs and his intellect. However, I will support Hillary if she is selected and I do recognize the fact that she has a brilliant husband who is very familiar with the job as President. Together, with a good VP, they would be a formidable team and possibly the best ever. Just remember, allegations and investigations do not mean "guilty" of anything. Matter of fact, the only thing ever proven was of a personal nature and, in my opinion, a private matter between husband and wife.
Reply:All she has is the name. That don't really hold all that much water. They should try being patriots first.
Reply:In keeping with the Constitution of the United States, yes, she is qualified. Should she be elected as POTUS? Who can tell.
You have to remember what Winsto nChurchill said about democracy-- "It is the worst form of government, except all the others that have been tried."
Reply:Absolutely not.
What ever happened to military service being a prerequisite for the Presidency in time of war? The Dem's put up a huge flap about it when Kerry was running, the war is still raging, so why isn't there a peep about it a mere 3 years later?
A junior senator as the President? I don't think so. Maybe after another couple of decades, but not yet by a long shot.
Nearly 400 million people in this Country, and voters can only concentrate on two families. It's time for a REAL change.
Reply:She is the right person to put America complety under control of foreign ruthless nations through the United Nation. Bill wants some day to be Secretary to the UN. His wife in the office of president is helping him towards his goal. Just think of all those young gals of every nationally will be at his beconing. They were schooled under communism and will disarm this nation. Ask retirted military vets what they think.
Reply:She doesn't have to have the "right stuff". She only has to make enough people believe that she does.
Reply:Beats me.
