I just spent two weeks with my best friend who lives out of state, and my plane leaves friday night. Her mom was a complete doll and I want to know what I should get her as a thnkyou gift thats under 20$, but not flowers because she already has some. Thankssssssss

I think a nice photo album would be appropriate, especially if you send some pics from your visit.
Here is another idea. If the area where you live has some special food specialty, you could send that. (Here it would be barbeque sauces).
