What to do to say "I'm sorry" from across the miles?

My army buddy in Iraq had a fight with his girlfriend over here in the states and he wants a creative way to tell her he's sorry, and has ruled out flowers. Anyone have any creative ideas?

Tell him to get his comrades to cut out a very large pointing hand from plywood or cardboard, paint it red. When dry, as many of his fellow soldiers form around the hand pointing it at him while he stands alone. The caption underneath could read something like 'he's truly sorry and loves you to bits'........... play with the idea and see where it takes you...............
Reply:he could maybe do sumthing nice for her, to show all of his love for her... that will probably work...
Reply:Send her a bullet saying that this is what i go thru every day, only to be with you and to see you again.
Reply:I love the flower thing, it's worked many times. If that isn't an option try, drying a rose petal and include a taped apology and going over the top put the petal in a poetry book on a selected poem.

Reply:write her a poem. But honestly, tell her to say sorry first - she's not the one in danger of being shot every darn day. She shouldn't even have let a fight happen when he's in such a stressful situation. Grrrr. Sorry - I have a lot of family and friends in Iraq and it drives me crazy seeing the stupid things people left back here do while their loved ones are gone for our country.

Reply:... To say sorry from across the miles will be hard. You can always send a card. One of those you get that's blank inside, and he could write her a sorry poem or something. He could also put hersheys kisses in there and send kisses from the miles.
