When was the last time the republican states like Utah or Idaho voted democrat in presidential elections?
During the 1964 Elections. Both Idaho and Utah voted Democrat (Lyndon B. Johnson)... that year. After then, they've gone Republican every time.
Of course, this was a different time...
Republicans weren't what they are now.
